Author Guidelines

Submission of a manuscript to the International Journal of Computer (IJC) will be taken to mean that it represents original work not previously published, that is not being considered elsewhere for publication; that the author is accepting all the journals' terms and conditions,copyright notice,and willing to assign copyright to the journal as per a contract that will be sent to the author just prior to research paper publication and, if accepted for publication, it will not be published elsewhere in the same form, in any language.

Manuscript Structure:

  • Submitted manuscripts to the journal must use the following template (download the template).
  • The manuscript should be in English, Times new roman; No Columns.
  • The manuscript should be arranged as follows:

1- Title page. This should contain:

  • a concise and informative title (as short as possible).
  • a list of authors' names with names and full addresses of institutions.
  • the name of the correspondence author, indicated using an asterisk.

2- Abstract: the abstract should list the main results and conclusions, using simple statements. The abstract must emphasize the key findings of the work and its general significance.

3- Key-words. A list in alphabetical order not exceeding ten words or short phrases.

4- Introduction. Explain the reasons for carrying out the work, outline the essential background and clearly state the nature of the hypothesis or hypotheses under consideration.

5- Materials and methods. Provide sufficient details of the techniques employed to enable the work to be repeated. Do not describe or refer to commonplace statistical tests in this section but allude to them briefly in Results.

6- Results. State the results and draw attention in the text to important details shown in tables and figures.

7- Discussion. Point out the significance of the results in relation to the reasons for doing the work, and place them in the context of other work.

8- Citations and references: this journal uses the IEEE Citation Style. (download detailed instructions)

  • Citations in the paper text should be added using their numbers (ex: as the results in [2] indicates…..).
  • The references in the Reference list should be in alphabetical order. The format for papers, thesis, entire books, and chapters in books is as follows:

1- Book:

Ex: Author(s). Book title. Location: Publishing company, year, pp.

2- Article in a Journal:

Ex: Author(s). “Article title”. Journal title, vol., pp, date.

3- Articles from Conference Proceedings:

Ex: Author(s). “Article title.” Conference proceedings, year, pp.

4- Standards/Patents:

Ex: Author(s)/Inventor(s). “Name/Title.” Country where patent is registered. Patent number, date.

5- World Wide Web:

Ex: Author(s)*. “Title.” Internet: complete URL, date updated* [date accessed].

6- Dissertations and Theses:

Ex: Author. “Title.” Degree level, school, location, year.

7- Book Chapters:

Ex: Author(s). “Chapter title” in Book title, edition, volume. Editors name, Ed. Publishing location: Publishing company, year, pp.

9- Tables : Each table should numbered and accompanied by a legend at the top. They should be referred to in the text as Table 1, etc. all figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.

10- Figures : Each figure should numbered and accompanied by a legend at the bottom. The word figures should be abbreviated in the text (e.g. Fig. 1; Figs. 2 and 3), except when starting a sentence. Photographic illustrations should also be referred to as Figures.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The author has read and accepts the following copyright agreement:

    COPYRIGHT TRANSFER

     

    The undersigned hereby assigns to the Global Society of Scientific Research and Researchers (GSSRR) and to theInternational Journal of Computer ("IJC ") all rights under copyright that may exist in and to the above Work, any revised or expanded derivative works submitted to IJC  by the undersigned based on the Work, and any associated written, audio and/or visual presentations or other enhancements accompanying the Work. The undersigned hereby warrants that the Work is original and that he/she is the author of the Work; to the extent the Work incorporates text passages, figures, data or other material from the works of others, the undersigned has obtained any necessary permission. See Retained Rights, below.

    AUTHOR RESPONSIBILITIES

     

    IJC  distributes its technical publications throughout the world and wants to ensure that the material submitted to its publications is properly available to the readership of those publications. Authors must ensure that The Work is their own and is original. It is the responsibility of the authors, not IJC , to determine whether disclosure of their material requires the prior consent of other parties and, if so, to obtain it.

    RETAINED RIGHTS/TERMS AND CONDITIONS

     

    1. Authors/employers retain all proprietary rights in any process, procedure, or article of manufacture described in the Work.

    2. Authors/employers may reproduce or authorize others to reproduce The Work and for the author's personal use or for company or organizational use, provided that the source and any IJC  copyright notice are indicated, the copies are not used in any way that implies IJC  endorsement of a product or service of any employer, and the copies themselves are not offered for sale.

    3. Authors/employers may make limited distribution of all or portions of the Work prior to publication if they inform IJC  in advance of the nature and extent of such limited distribution.

    4. For all uses not covered by items 2 and 3, authors/employers must request permission from IJC .

    5. Although authors are permitted to re-use all or portions of the Work in other works, this does not include granting third-party requests for reprinting, republishing, or other types of re-use.

    6.It should be clear for authors that the Editor In Chief is responsible for the final decision about the submitted papers; have the right to accept\reject any paper.  The Editor In Chief will choose any option from the following to review the submitted papers:

    A. send the paper to two reviewers, if the results were negative by one reviewer and positive by the other one; then the editor may send the paper for third reviewer or he take immediately the final decision by accepting\rejecting the paper. The Editor In Chief will ask the selected reviewers to present the results within 7 working days, if they were unable to complete the review within the agreed period then the editor have the right to resend the papers for new reviewers using the same procedure. If the Editor In Chief was not able to find suitable reviewers for certain papers then he have the right to accept\reject the paper.

    B. sends the paper to a selected editorial board member(s).

    C. the Editor In Chief himself evaluates the paper.

     

     

    INFORMATION FOR AUTHORS

     

    IJC  Copyright Ownership

     

    It is the formal policy of IJC  to own the copyrights to all copyrightable material in its technical publications and to the individual contributions contained therein, in order to protect the interests of IJC , its authors and their employers, and, at the same time, to facilitate the appropriate re-use of this material by others.

    Author/Employer Rights

     

    If you are employed and prepared the Work on a subject within the scope of your employment, the copyright in the Work belongs to your employer as a work-for-hire. In that case, IJC  assumes that when you sign this Form, you are authorized to do so by your employer and that your employer has consented to the transfer of copyright, to the representation and warranty of publication rights, and to all other terms and conditions of this Form. If such authorization and consent has not been given to you, an authorized representative of your employer should sign this Form as the Author.

    Reprint/Republication Policy

     

    IJC  requires that the consent of the first-named author and employer be sought as a condition to granting reprint or republication rights to others or for permitting use of a Work for promotion or marketing purposes.

    GENERAL TERMS THAT ARE PART OF RETAINED RIGHTS/TERMS AND CONDITIONS

     

    1. The undersigned represents that he/she has the power and authority to make and execute this assignment.

    2. The undersigned agrees to indemnify and hold harmless IJC  from any damage or expense that may arise in the event of a breach of any of the warranties set forth above.

    3. In the event the above work is accepted and published by IJC  and consequently withdrawn by the author(s) by paying the withdrawal fees, the foregoing copyright transfer shall become null and void and all materials embodying the Work submitted to IJC  will be destroyed.

    4. it should be clear to the authors that if the journal accept the paper then it will send an acceptance letter to the corresponding author (corresponding author is the submitter of the paper to the IJC journal ), if the authors did not respond and satisfy the requirements including the payment of the publication fees within 0ne month from  the date of sending the acceptance letter; then the journal have the right to consider this as refuse to pay the withdrawal fees by the authors and the IJC journal will have the right to publish the paper in any previous (back) volume from the IJC journal without returning to the authors.

    5. For jointly authored Works, all joint authors should sign, or one of the authors should sign as authorized agent for the others.

    6.It should be clear for authors that the Editor In Chief is responsible for the final decision about the submitted papers; have the right to accept\reject any paper.  The Editor In Chief will choose any option from the following to review the submitted papers:

    A. send the paper to two reviewers, if the results were negative by one reviewer and positive by the other one; then the editor may send the paper for third reviewer or he take immediately the final decision by accepting\rejecting the paper. The Editor In Chief will ask the selected reviewers to present the results within 7 working days, if they were unable to complete the review within the agreed period then the editor have the right to resend the papers for new reviewers using the same procedure.     7. This journal and the Global Society of Scientific Research and Researchers (GSSRR) are permitted to republish the author paper in any other journals or books, also the journal is allowed and permitted to publish the author paper in any back volume or issue.

    8. By submitting the publication fee, it is understood that the author has agreed to our terms and conditions which may change from time to time without any notice.

    9. Before publishing, author must check whether this journal is accepted by his employer, or any authority he intends to submit his research work. we will not be responsible in this matter.

    10. If at any time, due to any legal reason, if the journal stops accepting manuscripts or could not publish already accepted manuscripts, we will have the right to cancel all or any one of the manuscripts without any compensation or returning back any kind of processing cost.

    11. The cost covered in the publication fees is only for online publication of a single manuscript.

 

Copyright Notice

Authors who submit papers with this journal agree to the following terms:

  1. Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgement of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal.
  2. Authors are able to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgement of its initial publication in this journal.
  3. Authors are permitted and encouraged to post their work online (e.g., in institutional repositories or on their website) prior to and during the submission process, as it can lead to productive exchanges, as well as earlier and greater citation of published work (See The Effect of Open Access).
  4. In the event the above work is submitted and then it is accepted for publication by IJC, it cannot be withdrawn by the author(s) unless the authors pay withdrawal fees that are equal to the publication fees, if the authors refuse to pay the withdrawal fees; the IJC have the right to publish the paper in any previous (back) volume from the IJC journal without returning to the authors.

The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.

 

Author Fees

This journal charges the following author fees.

Fast-Track Review (this option can be chosen by the authors if they need very fast review process): 100.00 (USD)
With the payment of this fee (100 USD), the review, editorial decision, and author notification on this manuscript is guaranteed to take place within 5 days.

Article Publication (this is the standard option for the authors): 50.00 (USD)
If this paper is accepted for publication, you will be asked to pay an Article Publication Fee (50 USD) to cover publications costs.

If you do not have funds to pay such fees, you will have an opportunity to waive each fee. We do not want fees to prevent the publication of worthy work.
